Paul Kabata is a filmmaker, photographer and designer with a passion for all things creative. Born and raised in New York City, he's pursued the arts from a young age and taken advantage of all the culture the city has to offer. Attending the LaGuardia "Fame" High School of Music, Art & Performing Arts exposed him to a talented community of artists that fueled his desire to become a creative professional. After receiving a degree in Graphic Communications at Baruch College, he started out his career as Graphic Designer at Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. There he was able to transition from Web Design to Print work and eventually create the first Video Production position at the company. As a Digital Media Producer, helping establish an in-house studio and managing all the video content from concept to completion and distribution, he decided to pursue his adventurous side. After 7 years with the fashion house, he went on to document a
4 month cross country motorcycle trip from NYC to San Francisco with 3 of his friends. The life changing experience gave him a new outlook on the work/life balance we're all trying to achieve. Working hard is easy when you love what you do.
Paul has since been working as a freelancer, traveling and meeting other creative people around the world. After living in Paris in 2015, he's back to his home base in NYC ready to collaborate on new projects.
